Research Interests
Basic cardiovascular physiology and cardiovascular surgical research with emphasis on ventricular function and coronary blood flow. Clinical research related to the surgical treatment of ischemic and valvular heart diseases as well as thoracic aortic disease, with special emphasis on ventricular function, bypass graft and valvular performance, cardiac valve repair, internal mammary artery grafting, unstable angina, aortic dissections, and biostatistical analysis of long-term surgical results.
